Class Descriptions

Yoga Mutt - This is a fusion class that incoporates creative approaches to finding peace and strength. Expect an exciting blend of yoga asanas (poses) , claccis mat pilates work and an arrayof different excercises to enhance Balance, Flexibility, Core Strength, Functional Fitness, Posture and Overall Flawsomeness! Appropriate for ALL fitness levels, This Fun filled class promises to be jam packed with moves to keep you on your toes ( or sitz bones). You will need a mat, water and a towel. A sense of humor is also encouraged.

Power Vinyasa - This is a fast moving vinyasa class taught in a heated room (85-90 degrees) to help with flexibility and detoxification. The sequences will be challenging with more transitions.  Modifications are always given and all levels are welcome, but this class is most suitable for intermediate students and above. Please bring a towel and water.

Heated Flow - This is a slower moving vinyasa class taught in a heated room (80-90 degrees) which allow further hip opening, upper body and core strengthening. The slower pace allows the student to deepen the stretch for several breaths and build strength. Please bring a towel and water.

Yoga Basics - No yoga experience necessary, This class will introduce the student  to the practice with the foundations of yoga, sun salutations, postures and breathing exercises. The class will end with a short meditation and relaxation.

Mixed Level Flow - All levels are welcomed to this class, but if you are new to the practice, it is suggested you take a beginner class first. This class combines strength and power while synchronizing the movement and the breath. The class is designed to build heat and stimulate the nervous system. Modifications are always given and options are given to challenge the advanced student.

Yoga for Athletes -  This class is a Yin Yoga practice.  This class meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga with postures or asanas that are held for a longer period. For beginners, the range could be 45 seconds to 2 minutes.  Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner peace. This class is also beneficial for student athletes as a compliment to their conditioning and training for their sport.

 Yogavotion This class is a Mixed Level class with contemporary Christian music and a short devotion is given during the class. All are welcomed! This is an uplifting class you will throughly enjoy! 

365 Meditation Kula This Kula is a year long series and is the only series on Auto- Draft. This class meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. This Kula is an interactive meditation club. We discuss, learn and pratice meditation. This Kula provides a safe space for members to pratice meditation and share experiences and ideas. Members will learn tools to help then develop a powerful meditation pratice and will learn different types of meditation.

Hatha - Expect a slower paced class with some basic pranayama exercises (breathing).Hatha classes are a good place to learn beginner poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga. This class usually begins or ends with a  seated meditation.

 

 All classes are one hour.

 For your first visit, please arrive about 20 minutes early to sign a waiver or you can create a profile from the button below and sign a digital waiver. After your first class, please arrive a few minutes early as we start the classes on time. Once the classes begin we cannot allow late arrivals as it can be disruptive to the other students and can be unsafe for the body if it is not warmed up slowly.
