Congratulations on your Pregnancy!
Time For Prenatal Yoga, Prenatal yoga helps women prepare their bodies for labor and delivery by working specific areas of the body used in labor and delivery. Bring your whole being into balance, mind, body and spirit. In this hour and fifteen minute workshop, we will practice body awareness, breathing techniques, supported balances, standing, seated and lateral poses. Of course, what yoga class is complete without svasana? We will practice a semi-reclined svasana to allow your body time to receive the benefits of yoga and allow time for you to connect with your baby. Our workshop is open to healthy pregnant women in their 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Please get approval from your physician/midwife before attending class. No Yoga experience necessary.
Workshop is $20.00 and begins at 7:00pm. Please eat 30 minutes to an hour before class to prevent lightheadedness or weakness. Brings lots of water to keep yourself and your baby hydrated. Yoga mats are available at our Studio.
